Dear Parents of Taiwan Missionaries,
We appreciate any concern that you may have for the expected typhoon headed toward Taiwan. Sister Jergensen and I are aware of Typhoon Soudelor and continuously watch its progress. Typhoons are common in Taiwan during the summer months, and we have many resources to help us determine how to handle any coming storms. We are in frequent contact with all the missionaries to ensure their safety. All missionaries are instructed on what to do during a typhoon and are prepared with 72-hour kits. We have full confidence everything will be fine during this potential storm.

All missionaries are safe and accounted for. They are instructed to stay inside until President calls saying the storm has passed and it is compeletly safe to go outside again. We will continue to keep all informed.
Our first typhoon ever... Amazing!
